Fiber-to-the-Tower Project Management and Migration Tool
Project Manage the logical migration of Fiber-to-the-Tower (FTTT) services provided to wireless carriers from a single backhaul EVC to redundant EVCs across separate physical and logical paths between the Tower and the MSO Handoff location. The required timeline was extremely tight - targeting the migration of 1,000 towers in less than 6 months. In order to address the tight timelines, LNR constructed a project specific tool to manage the collected and normalized data and to programmatically create the router configuration changes needed to consistently and reliably migrate 35 - 50 towers per migration night.
Build Out of Nationwide Private CLEC
LNR Professional Services personnel led the project management, vendor selection, network design, order management system design, services delivery and operations teams that deployed a nationwide local calling footprint for the largest privately held CLEC in the United States, KMC Telecom. Footprint operated in 48 states and covered over 1,400 local calling areas.
Activation of CLEC for a Top 10 Cable MSO
LNR Professional Services personnel led the project management, vendor selection, network design, order management system design, services delivery, subscriber migration, network operations and business operations teams that built a turnkey CLEC activity for the nation’s sixth largest MSO. This capability was activated and migration completed for 400,000 subscribers over an 18 month period.
Financial Analysis / Business Case / Activation of CLEC for a Top 10 Cable MSO
LNR Professional Services led the business case development and is currently engaged with another Top 10 MSO to assist in the launch of their own CLEC activity. LNR is providing PMO, Regulatory, Network Engineering, Order Management Systems Design, Business Process Design, Vendor Selection, Network Operations, Cost Management and Subscriber Migration support for this activity.
Large Division Rollout of Business Services for a Top 10 Cable MSO
LNR Professional Services personnel led the Sales & Operations Organization through launch of Business Services and IP Trunking. Key Deliverables were: Market Analysis of all Business Customers and their propensity to buy Business Line Services, IP Trunking (SIP and PRI), and Hosted PBX; Marketing Plans and Promotions, Compensation Plans, Budgeting, Sales Territory Realignment, Competitive Analysis, Bundled Services, and Sales Training.
Deployment of Class 4/5 Network for Top 5 MSO
Design, deploy, and implement the switching network for 700,000 lines. Certification of all services, including CALEA/SS7/LD/ILD/Local on a new switching platform. Project included equipment evaluation, selection, deployment, configuration, migration and overall project management.
Transition of Wireline 911 to VoIP 911 for 350,000 Lines
Design, deploy, and implement new E911 network for MSO. Migrations of ALI records resulted in 99.99% accuracy. Project included equipment evaluation, selection, deployment, configuration, and migrations.
IP Network Circuit Emulation TDM Voice Backhaul for Top 5 MSO
Design, Deploy, and Implement the selected equipment for Circuit Emulated voice over IP. Supporting the full transition from hosted carrier voice to MSO CLEC voice for residential and commercial services over both NCS and SIP services. Project included equipment evaluation selection, deployment, configuration, and project management. Custom solution included a custom provisioning tool to meet the timeline of 1-time conversion requirements.
Launch of Hosted Private Branch Exchange Service for Top 5 MSO
Program Management, Solution Development and Solution Testing support for the launch of a hosted PBX product for Commercial Services. Project included development of overall program timeline, leadership of multi-disciplined team across corporate verticals of Engineering, Network Operations, Sales and Field Support and solution design, testing and documentation support. Faced with a very aggressive timeline to launch, project met every critical milestone within budget and meeting all product specifications for features, delivery and post-installation support.
